How to Show Memory Status on Xiaomi | Xiaomi Indonesia 2021

How To Show Memory Status On Xiaomi – Actually MIUI 9 has been released for a long time and is widely used by Xiaomi smartphone users and third-party ROM developers to develop the operating system. But there are still many who are not aware and do not know that there are some missing menus in this MIUI update.

Examples of the two missing menus are the updater menu which is usually in the Tools folder and also the free RAM status that we usually see when cleaning all open applications. How to restore the missing updater menu has been discussed previously.

And to restore the lost free RAM, will be discussed in this article. This menu or feature actually doesn’t really affect the overall system performance. It’s just that some MIUI users are already comfortable with this feature and feel a little lost when the feature or menu doesn’t exist automatically.

What is Memory Status ?

Memory Status on Xiaomi phones is a menu or feature that allows us to see the remaining RAM remaining and how much RAM is being used. In the previous version of MIUI, namely MIUI 7 or MIUI 8, we can see the status of used and remaining RAM by clicking the leftmost navigation button.

When we go to Recent Items, we will see what applications are running in the background. Below the list of applications that we are currently open, there is a button with a cross icon (X) to delete or stop all applications that are currently running. And at the bottom again, there is a menu that allows us to see the status of the remaining RAM. That menu is missing on the latest MIUI 9.

But don’t worry, the menu is not completely removed, it’s just that by default the menu is not activated. That is, manually, we can still restore it and the good news is, we don’t need to root here and there to simply return the menu to its original place.

How To Restore Lost Memory Status On Xiaomi?

1. Enter the menu Settings, scroll down a bit until you see the menu Home screen & Recents.

2. Click the menu Home screen & Recents.

3. In the menu, at the very bottom there is a menu Show Memori Status.

4. Swipe right on the menu until it is active.

5. Go back to the main menu and click the leftmost navigation button, see the difference.

Now, the remaining and used RAM memory status has returned to its original place. Very easy way is not it? Of course.

Some people prefer the menu to be hidden and some prefer to keep the menu displayed. One of them is me. I still want the menu to stay where it was. Maybe because I’m used to it, so when the menu suddenly disappears, I will look for various ways and tutorials to be able to restore the menu and finally this article was created.
