The legal wisdom of the virtue of Qurbani Eid al-Adha and its conditions

Uhiyyah or qurban is one of the worships that is carried out by Muslims once a year, namely on the 10th of Dhulhijjah, Eid al-Adha. Slaughtering this sacrificial animal is one of the proofs of a servant’s obedience to his Lord as was done by Prophet Ibrahim and his son Prophet Ismail when they were given a test, as well as being one of the facilities in broadcasting Allah’s religion.

The scholars have regulated all matters related to this qurban starting from the type of animal, the conditions for the animal that can be made for qurban and the prayer for slaughtering the qurban, the slaughtering procedure to the distribution of the meat, all of which are thoroughly peeled including the law which according to the law. The majority of scholars and Imams of Shafi’i say that this sacrifice is circumcised, not obligatory, but what is meant by the Sunnah here is that which is confirmed, especially for those who can carry it out. As for if according to Imam Hanifah powder, it is obligatory for those who can afford it.

البَرَاءِ اللَّهُ الَ: الَ النَّبِيُّ لَّى اللهُ لَيْهِ لَّمَ: «مَنْ بَعْدَ الصَّلاَةِ ابَ المُسْلِمِينَ

From Barra’ bin Malik radhiyallahu ‘anhu said: The Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam said: “Whoever slaughters a sacrificial animal after the Eid prayer, then the slaughter is correct and he is in accordance with the sunnah of the Muslims.” (Narrated by Bukhari no. 5545)

الْبُدْنَ لْنَاهَا لَكُمْ ائِرِ اللَّهِ لَكُمْ ا اذْكُرُوا اسْمَ اللَّهِ

And We have made the camels for you part of the symbols of the religion of the Almighty, you will get much good from them. Then mention the name of the Almighty (when you are about to slaughter it) (Surah Al-Hajj Verse 36).

ا لَ لٍ النَّحْرِ لَى allah

There is no deed done by humans on the feast of sacrifice that is more beloved to the Almighty than slaughtering an animal. Verily, the sacrificial animal will come on the Day of End with its horns, feathers and hooves. Indeed, before the blood of the sacrifice flows to the ground, its reward has been received with Allah.
